Ween - Pandy Fackler
from White Pepper
Not many bands would think to cop Steely Dan’s style. And I can’t think of any who could actually pull it off. Ween, as usual, expertly tears through every last one of their target’s best tricks, including lyrics.

Ween—Even If You Don’t
My very favorite Ween song. My husband says this is the song a ween fan hears when they decide they ain’t just a jokey band after all.
I never knew this had a video, much one directed by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. It’s a great Beatles-esque track from White Pepper, their most consistent and digestible record. As usual, I abandon my general distaste for guitar solos when Deaner starts wailing.

Ween - The Stallion pt. 3 (Live Studio)
from All Request Live
As Gener would say, it’s “live on the Infranet.”

“Don’t Laugh, I Love You”—arguably the greatest rock n’ roll song of all time
Hard to argue. I forgot I was at this show ‘til Gene forgot the lyrics… then it all came back to me.
Ween has been creeping back into my life lately. They’re due for a new record.
Beavis and Butthead watch the video for Ween’s “Freedom of ‘76”. Watch the full music video, directed by Spike Jonze, here.

Ween - “The Argus”
This is one of those songs that seems to make it onto every playlist I create. Well, this and a couple other Ween songs really, because they kind of kick ass.

Flawless live version. These guys are so good.
Ween - Put Your Boobs On
Ween does their best 2 Live Crew imitation on this unreleased track from the Mollusk sessions.
Good Morning Music!
Ween / “Freedom of ‘76”Fairmount Park in the summer / Lookin’ good on the street / “Mannequin” was filmed at Woolworth’s / Boyz II Men still keepin’ up the beat, yeah
An early, and largely unseen, Spike Jonze video.

Ween - If I Close My Eyes Forever
originally by Lita Ford and Ozzy Osborne
This is very low bit rate encode of a never released cassette of Ween goofing off. I’m pretty sure they were still in high school at this point.
