This is Mose Schrute, cousin of Dwight. He is played by Michael Schur, show runner and co-creator of Parks and Recreation, among other things. Mose is one of his two alter-egos. The other is Ken Tremendous.

This show has a huge heart. It would be impossible to digest Michael’s bouts of idiocy if they weren’t accompanied by equally potent doses of sincerity and humanity. He’s more than a bit like a dog.
