This was filmed in ‘81 and never saw the light of day until 2000. All of the dialogue was lost and had to be overdubbed with the help of Saul Williams, who filled in for Basquiat. Despite being a work of fiction, it provides a fascinating snapshot of late 20th century NYC and the artists who inhabited it.
