i was looking through my old portfolio today -which by the way is not unlike looking at yourself naked in the mirror (you make the same face)- and i asked myself what’s the most iconic web design i’ve ever seen. i keep coming back to these three:
- craigslist
- slashdot
- cnet’s vertical columnar navigation
For me, it’s gotta be the first time I visited cumdrunktrannies.com. You’d think with such a sordid URL the interface would be horrible; but God-DAMN was that a fucking elegant design.
