Jacksons - Can You Feel It
According to this video the Jacksons are the creator and your lord and savior, which… at the time was just about correct. the jacksons and especially michael jackson were worshipped like a deity for a long time. when people talk about michael jackson and how crazy he is i always point out that, no one on earth has ever experienced what he has. can you imagine walking around and people passing out when they are in your presence since you were 13 years old.
anyway you gotta love this video. it’s pure cheese. with the crazy ass 80s technology and the loud ass voiceovers. enjoy the cheese.
A few things about this vid:
- The song is awesome. I forget just how good Michael Jackson was.
- I love the visual effects. Jam this vid between a few early HBO interstitials and I’ll be in heaven. Robert Abel worked on the video. His next project was TRON.
- I distinctly remember watching this video as a child. I was in a home that was not my own and there was a videodisc player on top of the TV. Not sure why this is relevant, but I like to mention videodiscs from time to time.
